01 — Red Light Therapy
Light, used
properly.
Red and near-infrared light — explained simply, with no overclaiming. A session that feels like an exhale.
“A session that feels like an exhale.”
Warm light · No UV · Total stillnessWhat it is
Photobiomodulation,
demystified.
Not a trend here — a practice.
Our equipment: Medi Bed 5 — 38,600 LEDs; 633/660/850/940nm plus 810nm. Settings can be combined, and all you do is lie still in warm, quiet light.
- Session length
- Booked in 15-minute slots, which include time to get changed and for us to clean the bed. For a longer session, book more than one slot: for example, two 12-minute sessions are booked as two 15-minute slots. You only pay for the minutes you spend on the bed (£1.20 a minute), and only those minutes come off a bundle, so a 12-minute session in a 15-minute slot counts as 12 minutes.
- What it feels like
- Warm, calm, ambient light. No UV. No discomfort. Nothing to do except be still. Goggles are provided for your session.
- Frequency
- 2–3 times a week over 4–8 weeks for meaningful, lasting results. We help you build the rhythm.
- First visit
- A brief consultation so your first session is built around your goals — not a generic timer.

Your first visit
What to expect
when you arrive.
A short conversation
We’ll talk through what you’re hoping to get from red light therapy — recovery, skin, energy, or simply a moment of stillness. This takes five minutes, not an hour.
Your session, set up for you
Duration and positioning tailored to your goals. We explain what’s happening and why — no jargon, no overclaiming.
Time for nothing
Lie still. Warm light. Quiet room. That’s it. You don’t need to do anything except relax.
A plan going forward
We suggest a frequency and membership option that actually fits your week — not the one that earns us the most.
